Bright Glow Observed Over the Chestnut Ridge

Just before 9 pm on the evening of August 26, 2012, a witness from the Latrobe area was looking toward the Chestnut Ridge. In the direction of Indiana County he observed a very bright glow in the sky that lasted about three seconds. The flash was yellow-green in color and took up a large section of the sky.
