Light Zips across Sky

Between Greensburg and Latrobe-Westmoreland County
A man was visiting at a friend’s house that was located in a rural location between Greensburg and Latrobe. They were looking up at a number of aircraft that were moving through the sky. It was partly cloudy at the time. While looking towards the northeast, a dim white light was observed. The light was quite high in the sky but below the cloud layer.
In a matter of seconds, that light moved straight across the sky toward Greensburg, slowed down slightly, then climbed upwards higher in altitude and then veered off toward the direction of Irwin and moved out of sight. A witness said when it slowed the light appeared to be round in shape, but as it moved, it was just a streak. One witness mentioned that he has seen many meteors and this was not a meteor. He stated, “I never saw a meteor turn and go upwards.”
