Michelle Wright, WTAE-TV Emmy Award winning morning news anchor has been researching the details associated with the December 9, 1965, UFO incident that took place near Kecksburg, Pennsylvania in Westmoreland County.
During her investigation she began a search to locate any archival footage that might have been stored away years ago that might confirm that something of interest had taken place that night in 1965 near Kecksburg. With the help of the station’s archive manager, two reels of historical film footage were discovered.
