That Strange Object In the Sky Last Night Over Pennsylvania Was Not A UFO, It Was Rocket Launch Related-August 12, 2025

Apparently, numerous residents of Pennsylvania as well as many other states observed an unusual looking luminous object surrounded by a misty spiral effect moving across the sky around 10:35 PM on August 12, 2025.
I began to receive pictures of the object within minutes after it had been observed from various locations in Pennsylvania. I was also made aware that social media was very active with chatter concerning the observation and similar photos and videos were being posted.
As soon as I saw the pictures and heard the reports, I recognized that what was observed was likely associated with a space launch activity.
At 8:56 PM, a Vulcan Centaur rocket was launched from Cape Canaveral, Florida on a military mission for the U.S. Space Force.
The length of time separating the launch time of the Vulcan rocket from the observations of the mysterious object seen in the sky seemed to be too extensive to be related.
There was, however, another rocket launch that same evening. Arianspace launched from Kourou, French Guiana, an Ariane 6 rocket that would carry a weather satellite into orbit.
A well-known astronomer and astrophysicist, Jonathan McDowell, posted that what people saw over numerous states was the deorbit burn of the Ariane 6 upper stage.
This is the likely explanation for this interesting sky event.
