Two Recent Daylight, Close Range Bigfoot Encounters Reported in Southwestern Pennsylvania

There were recently two significant daylight, close range Bigfoot encounters reported in Southwestern sections of Pennsylvania. In both cases the creatures were short in stature compared to other Bigfoot observations that have been commonly reported.

The first encounter took place on August 18, 2026, at 6:45 PM in a rural location of Indiana County. It is an area with a lot of history of Bigfoot activity. The witness was outside doing a chore near one of the buildings on her farm. She heard a noise from the wood line as if something was being thrown around.
A short time later she exited the structure and noticed about sixty feet away, a figure crouched down in the tree line behind the trees. Then she noticed a second similar figure that was near the other one also crouched down. Suddenly they both jumped up and began to run around in that area as though playing.
The witness did not have her phone with her; however, she did have a good look at the creatures for a few minutes. She described them as standing on two legs, and were about three and a half feet tall, and covered with light brown hair that was of a medium length and straggly looking. There was no apparent neck, and the head seemed to rest on the shoulders. The face was a darker brown than the body. The eyes were round and dark brown. The arms were long and not that thick and like those of a young child’s arms. The legs were not clearly seen being blocked somewhat by the local foliage.
The creatures while moving around made an odd sound like a baby’s cooing.
The witness suddenly sneezed, and the creatures then looked directly toward her.
At that point the witness became alarmed and ran into the house.
Addendum:
In the last week the dog has been afraid to go outside. The witness said something awakened her on Sunday night. It was also a similar cooing sound.
On the same day as her sighting, her husband was walking the dog at about 4:30 PM, and heard a loud wood knock by the cornfield, then three more coming from the top of the ridge.
Her husband said that his wife came running into the house immediately after seeing the creatures, yelling about what had taken place. The husband never had the opportunity to see the creatures.
The second Bigfoot encounter took place the next day, August 19, 2026, in Westmoreland County. The witness was driving slowly on a rural road at about 8:05 PM when she observed on the right side of the road a hair-covered creature that was running up the hillside very quickly. She was only about thirty feet from the animal when it made it up to the roadside.
When the creature stepped onto the ground it seemed to momentarily lose its balance. It then made an 180-degree turn as the entire body turned in an unnatural way. It looked almost like a mechanical movement and then went back down the hill.
The witness only saw the creature for seconds but had a good look at it. It was about five feet tall, on two legs and covered with charcoal gray hair. The head was somewhat dome shaped and there was no apparent neck. The arms were long and swinging. The nose seemed a little flat with flared nostrils. She did not notice the ears. The eyes were small and dark. She only saw one hairy leg as it spun around.
The visibility was very good, and there was still some daylight at that time.
The windows were up in the vehicle, and the air conditioner was on. There was no sound heard or smell detected.
Addendum:
In both cases I interviewed the witnesses within an hour after the encounter had taken place.
Sightings of Bigfoot have historically been reported for years from the general areas where these encounters occurred.
In addition to the Bigfoot encounters, reports are also coming in of loud screams and howls from wooded areas miles apart. UFO sightings from various locations are also being reported.
